The trip of a lifetime

Two weeks ago, Adam took me on the sweetest trip of all time.

Maybe it was so great because it was our last trip before we meet our little baby.

Maybe it was so great because we saw all of our best friends in Austin, went on a road trip with our bests, and watched our dear friend marry her beloved.

It was also probably the *incredible* Texas bbq, mexican, and pizza.  The open sky and the cotton ball puff clouds.  The afternoon at the pool, just Adam and me.  The crocheted blanket for Bedenbaby.  The weekend in the little mountains of Eureka Springs.  Breathing in all that fresh air.

It really does something to a person.  Like, opens up their heart real big and reminds them that they developed a little bit of Texas blood that won’t ever go away.

I was so refreshed.  I am still SO refreshed.  I love that place and those people and that food.  I love sleeping in friend’s houses, and the feeling that we belong at their breakfast tables.  Eating, drinking, and being merry.  Late night talks and guitar picking.  Whole conversations and quick prayers together.

Friends that are family.

The incredible talented Cortney B Photography took some killer photos of the wedding in Eureka Springs.  Check em out!

And Texas, next time you see us, we will be 3.
